Welcome to Riverside Academy, where we are committed to educating your child in a safe and loving environment and ensuring they get the education and assistance they need to reach their full potential.
Education
Grades, Electives, and More
Grades Offered: Pre-K to 5th Grade and 6 to 12th Grade
Education: Core Requirements based on the student's chosen career pathway: Math, Science, Social Studies, and English. Character education will be embedded in the curriculum for every subject taught.
Electives Offered: Spanish, Nutrition, Cooking, Auto Mechanics, PE, Art, and Music.
Spiritual Development: All students will begin each morning with prayer and will take part in Bible reading. Our elementary students will complete a craft to help them retain what they’re learning and our secondary students will accompany their Bible reading with the devotional and a prayer journal. As well as a weekly sanctuary service.
Off-Campus Activities: Students will take a trip to the Victoria Public Library once every two weeks. They will be able to check out books and take part in other activities offered by the library.
We will have a set PE curriculum class at Elite Fitness weekly where students will have a safe area for physical exercise. Elementary will go on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and secondary on Tuesday and Thursday. We have a set PE curriculum.
Our field trips and community outings (age-appropriate) monthly.
